Input selection is made using the front panel pushbutton switches, or remotely using the RS-422/RS-485 serial interface.
All inputs and outputs are balanced.
Up to 8 RS-81 series switchers can be slaved together. Combining the RS-81A with the RS-81V or RS-81S creates an 8x1 audio follow video router, complete with breakaway.
