ADC-2 Audio Analog to Digital Converter
The ADC-2 is a high resolution, low noise analog to digital converter for demanding professional
applications.
The signal format (AES3 or S/PDIF) and the sampling frequency (44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, or 96 kHz)
are selectable from the front panel controls. Clip indicators for left and right warn of input
signal overload.
Analog audio input connectors are balanced XLR type, to interconnect readily with most types of
equipment. The AES3 and S/PDIF output connectors are XLR and RCA types, as per respective standards.
An external word sync input is provided, in order to synchronize the internal clock with other
devices. A sync output is also provided for convenience. A front panel indicator shows the
presence of an external sync source.
