A specially designed output circuit will drive most headphones to maximum levels, regardless of headphone impedance. 600 ohm headsets are driven to levels comparable to those obtained using a 20 watt/channel power amplifier.
Input connections are made via balanced 1/4" TRS input connectors, which will also accept unbalanced inputs. Input levels are internally adjustable for -10 dBV/0 dBm/+8 dBm. A mono input may be connected using the right channel input only, and will be normalled to both channels.
Independent front panel gain controls permit comfortable listening levels to be adjusted for each headset.
