All channels are balanced, and conform to the EIA RS-422 data transmission standard. The RS-41D is available with either 9-pin D-subminiature (standard) or screw clamp terminal block (optional) rear panel connectors.
Channel selection is made using the front panel pushbuttons, or remotely using simple switch or relay closures via the rear panel remote interface.
The RS-41D may also be slaved to the RS-41V for applications where time code or data must follow video.
