AM-4 Audio Monitor
AM-4 Manual
The AM-4 audio monitoring system provides 4 balanced analog inputs and outputs, 2 digital AES3 inputs
and outputs (optional), and an SDI digital video input and output (optional). The inputs are
selectively routed in stereo pairs to the outputs. A/D and D/A conversion is automatically performed
as part of the routing process.
AES3 digital inputs feature automatic sample rate conversion for the inputs up to 96 kHz. Digital
AES3 outputs are fixed at 48 kHz. The SDI digital input demultiplexes the embedded audio, and
supports all four SDI groups.
Left or right channel only and mono modes are provided. Status indicators notify of signal phase
errors, 25 Hz and 35 Hz control tone presence, and silence conditions.
High resolution meters, quality speakers, and headphone output are also provided.
