The MDA-8 ia a 2 RU modular audio and/or video distribution amplifier system.
The electronic and rear connector modules are both removeable, and may be placed in
any frame position, to accomodate a variety of system sizes and needs.
Each video or audio module provides a complete 1 input, 8 output distribution
system. The chassis holds 10 modules, in any combination. Modules may be added at
any time, providing flexibility and simple system expansion.
Audio module signal connections are via 3-pin locking headers. Video module signal
connections are BNC type.
Separate audio and video power supplies provide noise isolation to both systems.
In audio only or video only frames, an optional redundant second supply can be
installed.
