Input selections are made either locally using the front panel pushbuttons, or with remote switch closures using the parallel remote control port.
The S-41AV consists of three switching networks for the left and right audio signals, and the video signals. All three networks switch simultaneously when a selection is made. Loss of power will cause each of the outputs to default to input number 1.
All audio inputs and outputs are balanced analog, with locking XLR type connectors. The gain settings of the left and right audio outputs are internally adjustable. Video connectors are the BNC type. Video gain and response are also internally adjustable.
